Standard Bank CSI Bursary Requirements and Eligibility

  • Excellent academic results with distinctions in Mathematics and Physical Science, if applicable. The basis will be the Grade 11 final results, Grade 12 June results and Grade 12 Pre-lim results. Minimum 70% average and 75% for Mathematics, 70% for Physical Science and 70% for English FAL (or 60% for English HL) are required.
  • Proven financial need
  • Admission to the designated study programmes
  • Preference will be given to applicants in rural and township background

How to Apply and Application Details

  1. The application must be done online, click here to start the online application process at StudyTrust official website.
  2. Accompany your application with the certified copies of the following required documents:
    • This year’s June results, NSC / matric results or your complete academic record, whichever are applicable
    • ID document
    • Parent/guardian proof of income (pay slip, audited financial statements, sworn affidavit for self-employed or unemployed parent/guardian)
    • Death certificate or a sworn affidavit in the case of deceased parent(s) / guardian / spouse
    • Divorce certificate if your parents are divorced or sworn statement if separated
    • Provisional admission letter to the institution you applied to study at.
    • CV, for Standard Bank 150 bursary applicants
